As an institution affiliated with Hanyang University, the Discovery Center for Science and Technology for Young Scientists at Hanyang University is engaged in various projects that aim to popularize science, including the development of STEAM programs, running mobile science classes, conducting science & engineering camps, and staging Christmas science lecture plays. Having proposed South Korea’s first STEAM integrative education model through the development of a science class model based on creativity and personality, the center plays a leading role in STEAM education by being involved in activities such as running the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity's “integrative Talent Education (STEAM) Class Model Research Group” project and developing the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's “Gyeonggi integrative STEAM materials.”
